It had to happen, sick of my current machine I bought a Blue Hyundai with three years warranty and under £100 I think its a bargain.
So what have I got?
Well its a brand new, little lawn mower and to be honest I am quite suitably impressed! I found it on Amazon in two sizes, the small one as I bought and a slightly larger one for under £140.
It arrived yesterday dinnertime, I unboxed it, checked all the parts were there and assembled it in ten minutes!
The plastic bits seem a little brittle, but, once clipped together they seemed more stronger than I expected.
The three year warranty is a blessing if anything should pack up! That's a long warranty for a mower costing only £100!!
The mower is very light, far lighter than I would have expected, but, I actually liked it as I wasn't wrestling with the mower when in use! Might have a new job for the wife? ;-)
Adjusting the height of the wheels is a bit of a farce, grovelling on my knees to operate the simple adjusters front and back. But as my lawn is quite flat the middle setting was perfect and it will probably stay that way?
Grass collection was quite good, I have to say and as my lawn was quite high, I had to empty it six times!
The roller does generate a line on the grass but as the mower is not as heavy as my last one, (a petrol mower) the lines were not so pronounced.
I would have liked a longer lead but using my extension lead was not an issue really.
Best thing about it all was it was so quiet!!
Summary
Easy to manoeuvre, empty, fold the handle down and put in the shed, lawn looks good and for me no petrol/exhaust fumes is a positive move! I like it...
